I always ask myself, is there really any point of doing this now days? As in blogging…
With new stuff such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Calender (yes I mean it..) and also the REAL world, I find it hard to talk about what is going to happen and what just happened in my life but nonetheless I am sure it feels good once in a while to just really RANT and talk about anything.. so here I am going to tell you about some rather complicated stuff in my head,
Bear in mind I am typing this at almost 1am in the morning and I have not had proper sleep for very long now so excuse me for typos or anything that doesnt make sense.
Does anyone here finds that life isn’t exactly fair? Well, look at it this way… Whenever you get something good or get lucky in general, you bound to find yourself in a sticky situation on something else..
There is no free lunch in the world and it is true with just about anything.. You dont get something good without suffering some kinda consequences for the “reward”… Sometimes you really got to ask yourself if it is all worth it ..
but right now my head is not working and i doubt anything made sense so hrm.. i will fix it.. or write smething thts more coherent when im awake

Go for GOLD? or isit DIG for Gold? Now that the Olympics is over, big congrats to the Chinese with the excellent results and not forgetting the great effort by the Australian with 14 Gold medals,

Stephanie Rice GO for Gold
Australian love their sports, from AFL to Rugby to Cricket to of course Olympics. But does anyone know whats the price we pay to see our athelets get gold?
I bet no one does because I didn’t until I read the stats and I quote this,
the cost of each gold medal won by an Australian in Beijing has cost taxpayers $16.7 million (theage.com.au)
Yes almost a WHOPPING 17 million of the taxpayers money are spent on EACH and EVERY Gold medal won by the Australian athelets. If you do the maths in a blunt way, we have spent a good 50 million on Stephanie Rice.
Money well spent? Money worth spending? Value for Money?
That I do not know because to me, spending 17million dollars training our athelets to win gold seems ridicilous,
I tell you WHAT those 17 million can and ultimately SHOULD be spend on…
- More Hospitals/ Better health system (come on, people wait months to get minor surgery done)
- More Schools (teach the stupid kids now days to have better manners on the road!)
- Better roads (with less fkn potholes)
So instead, our proud Prime Minister thought it would be money better spent pouring them on bunch of athletes to get a round metallic thing around their neck (I hope they are real solid pure gold!! for that price).
My say - ridiculous!
So whats your say?
